I got a lot of em. Mostly all refs to recent memes with a few older ones in there, but I tend to keep up with them somewhat.. mostly because I like to be able to troll people who use them too much, incorrectly, or absurdly. Thought the guest strip was a nice one, really.
Yelling Bird QC Captions. I effin' loved it.

I, for one, am relieved that Yelling Bird kept it so classy. You know, as opposed to posting a large, far too close-up drawing of his cloaca or something similar. That's what I really would've expected.

It doesn't really matter, but... The expository wall-of-text section told me, at length, what the joke was supposed to be, but then nearly all the references went completely over my head so the strip never delivered. YOLO was obvious, but otherwise the only thing I picked up was the They Live cap. A low-budget SF movie reference from 1988? How edgy!.

Same here, I really expected something disgusting. Like the one time Yelling Bird showed us his favourite internet pictures (which I just spend 15 minutes on trying to find it, to no avail).
Edit: And of course, 2 minutes later I find it.
