Well I can go into the city pretty much anytime but I'm moving in August so July is the latest. I would definitely be interested in seeing someone get their tongue split, though.

It's a 10-hour drive, but it's one I make a few times a year to see my daughter and her family. They have an apartment in the lower east side they've invited me to stay at.

I'm referring specifically to this weekend, only because I have dinner plans on Saturday. Pretty much any other weekend is fine as long as I have enough warning. And about 30-45 minutes from NYC.

Method, my route home Sunday morning is 287 near the Tappan Zee Bridge to I80. But 9W toward Rte4 or the Garden State are possibilities. If you're not far south of 4, we might meet for coffee.

I've been trying to visit my family in LI this summer - no date set, but it requires a train stop at Penn station, so I could easily time it for a meetup.

Indy's a little better. Ft. Wayne more so. I hadn't thought about it in years; do universities have a bulletin board, on line or otherwise, for those wishing or offering rides?

The thing is, meetups are fun, and so are passengers on long day trips. Otherwise I'm listening to hours of CNN, HLN, MSNBC on satellite radio!
