--- Quote from: BenRG on 26 Apr 2015, 15:23 ---Regarding Thor and the Infinity Stones:
Remember that Thor is an alien. Although the Asgard present themselves as gods on occasion, they are actually an ancient race space-travelling immortals. It's just that they use the Bifrost (space bridge) and other Clarketech pseudo-magic to get around rather than space-ships.
(click to show/hide)Now, the Infinity Gems are old and have been around for a long while. In the comics, they are said to pre-date the universe itself. Waaay back in Thor 1, we see a distinctive gauntlet in Odin's treasure trove of alien weapons. That gauntlet was designed to house the six Infinity Gems and allow them to be used by a single wielder. Because of that, we can be sure that Thor knows of them; he was probably told the story of how his father acquired that device many times as a child. It is also probable that he knows of Thanos and his race, the Titans (another race of super-aliens, actually mostly white hats, who masquerade as gods when it suits them).

(click to show/hide)Yeah, but isn't Thor basically from another dimension? Space in the realm of Asgard isn't even the same space as in Earth's dimension?! Because from what I've understood, Asgard and the other realms isn't placed anywhere in our universe. Or is it, and it just so happens that nine random planets are connected my space teleportation magic?
So, you know, just from that it seems kinda odd to me that Thor knows about the events of GotG. I guess maybe he saw glimpses of it in his dream-sequence and realized it was the power gem or something?! What even was that? Did he quickly just go back to Aasgard or where was that? Also why was the swedish guy there? Seemed to me like he basically was there just to have as many universe characters as possible.

(click to show/hide) Given that the red gem was given to The Collector at the end of Thor 2, maybe the Asgardians heard about the destruction of The Collector's lab or whatever during Guardians, which alerted them to the presence of the purple stone? It seems like the kind of thing Heimdall would notice, at any rate.

Right, I forgot about that part. So the Asgardians went to Knowhere..
LeeC:
Jubliee and Jean Grey from X-Men Apocalypse.
Looks like late 80s early 90s.
Edguy:
