He's got a PHP script on his site that selects a random image to return when someone accesses http://cassland.org/images/QCavi.jpg . I don't think the ability to link the avatar directly to an external URL is allowed for normal forum users, though.
edit -- it is allowed, apparently. Hold on, I gotta idea. :roll:
