Dale seems to have entirely quit wearing his internet glasses. Have we ever seen him without them before the May arc? I have the general impression that Dale always used to be wearing glowing glasses, so it seems funny that he's suddenly ditched something he was so hooked on.

We've only seen them "glow" when he's on his own, in an informal setting (or running across Marigold when on his own). Here, he has to pay attention, make an impression, so they're turned off. [/goodexplanation]
