--- Quote from: pwhodges on 13 Nov 2013, 02:35 ---Tai's confusion also reminds me of the time that Faye, talking about Angus, couldn't articulate the word "boyfriend" (ending up with "boyfling", if I remember correctly).

--- End quote ---

Yes, I thought that Tai might have gotten the title of "girlfling".

sitnspin:
As a long time Dora-Tai fan, this comic makes me very happy.  Plus, it reminds me of my current gf's response the first time she heard me refer to her as my girlfriend.

--- Quote from: Akima on 13 Nov 2013, 01:54 ---I think Platypodes sums up anything I was going to say, so I'll just ask why Tai is suddenly speaking Spanish?

--- End quote ---

It's common enough here in the US for people (even non-Spanish speakers) to occasionally drop a word or two of Spanish. I didn't think anything unusual of it.

--- End quote ---

Not just Spanish, either.

Method of Madness:
I remember when I first started dating Sarah and she'd introduce me as her boyfriend. I knew I was, obviously, but it still always made me smile to hear it. Still does, actually :)
