I learned a word today! Although if it's a portmanteau of grind and crunch, shouldn't it just be grunch? Where's the a from?

In the final panel, the bolded and italicized emphasis on "girlfriend" (as well as Tai's Bambi eyes) lead me to believe that Tai's feelings about Dora are still much stronger than Dora's towards Tai.
