I'm guessing that it weighs more than one of every kind of ipod. But, yeah, it's badly phrased.

EDIT: Oh, and electricity.

Yeah I read that as the combined mass of every single ipod ever. It implied that 2553 is a reasonable figure for the number of ipods that ever existed.
