Reading QC made me buy a keyboard and a guitar.

I suck at music. I can't play anything on them.

I have tried guitar (I bought one several years ago), and I had to take piano lessons for my music degree.  I don't suck at music, but I can't play either.  Still, I want to get a keyboard so that I can play through the exercises presented in the music theory book I'm reading (they're very easy to play, technically).

You're either the most self-pitying, unmotivated person in history or you need to sack up and do things.

So far you've complained here about how you're not indie enough to fit in or talented enough to play music like the other members of this forum. Last I checked, the way to get better at playing a musical instrument was to practice.

Well I suppose I could take up mocking people as a sport, but I'd hate to take your thing.

Mocking would have a joke in there, that's just stating a perception of your posts.

I stand corrected - "I suppose I could take up insulting people for sport but I'd hate to take your thing."

But I'm actually kinda liking the title of "Most self-pitying, unmotivated person in History". It could come in handy for picking up girls.

Unfortunately I'd never use it in an argument as it'd be fairly easy to disprove.

So many things in this pic.  The serial killer expression in the middle, the blank expression on the left.  The torn pants.  The happy smile.  The hat.  The subtly popped collar.

I can only guess what the hell is going on here.

So, I'm currently writing my term paper for my Islamic Radicalism history course, and looking around on the internet for sources, I noticed this:

I laughed out loud.  Both links are to pages full of quotes from the Qur'an supporting Allah being the only Ilah, and Ar Rahman being another Ilah
