I read somewhere (a prefix statement indicating that the following may actually not be true, before I am shamed by the mighty wrath of a thousand wikipedia researchers) that eventually all men's beards will be russet-tinged because of the ginger-specific secondary-sexual-stage hair-growing gene-indicator doo-dad being more dominant, over all the other colours, in spite of whatever happens to be the head-hair colour of the gentleman in question!
I for one welcome this development. Like you, Sean, my beard is mostly ginger. Unlike Sean, some parts of it are also black, brown, white and grey. I have a patchwork beard.
