Arches national park, so pretty they put it on their license plate.
And it is pretty. But in the end it is rocks. And it is hot, and miserable:

I was stuck in the nearest town, Moab:
3 days to fix my car? I did the sensible thing, rented a car and spent the weekend in Colorado/New Mexico.
Rugged, natural beauty? I'll take Yellowstone, thank you.

I still enjoy the land here. I mean, I live up north, on the wasatch front. its all mountains.

Yeah, pretty much the only bearable parts of Utah (read: for extended stay/living) are in the north.
That's still not saying much.
