On the cheap vs drinkable scale, Tecate's definitely got most domestics beat, especially when you narrow the field to "beers you can buy within 100 miles of BM so you don't have to carry cases across the country."

Trying to guess what other people are going to like in a beer always sucks too. Beers that taste like 90% hops have gotten a lot of press over the last few years and that's just a very different style from what most people are looking for.

My downstairs neighbors consist of 6 people, 3 generations, 2 in each. So deaf grandpa and teenage boy are shoveling snow when wife and I get back from gym. After helping out I explain to teenage boy that I'm about to strip down to run in the snow so I can send my mom a picture, and asked him to explain it to the grandpa so that he wouldn't be too surprised. Fun for the whole family

I also took a crash course in Sado, the traditional japanese tea ceremony. It is painfully dull and then you drink bitter green tea.
