I feel like I jinxed him, dude went 0-4 Saturday. He's a great backup outfielder though..saw a lot of playing time last year because Ellsbury kept breaking his ribs.

We have one of those roto-tillers. What a pain in the ass! The engine doesn't provide enough weight to keep the blades down in the dirt, so you end up kinda pushing down on the handles the whole time to keep the blades down there doing what they're supposed to be doing. At least in my experience.

Maybe I need to try to gangsta approach.

I didn't have too many problems, I'm getting a raised bed set up so it was more to mix the soil and alpaca manure together and break up the clumps than to really chop into any tough roots/ground. It does vibrate your arms like a motherfucker though, and seems to work better when dragged backwards rather than pushed. After 4 days of trying to till by hand with a pick & hoe, anything is easier!

The girlfriend and I went up to Millstone Edge in the Peak District to watch some friends of ours do climbing. The girlfriend is sneakily demonstrating that:

a) I am in desperate need of a haircut

b) I require little encouragement to jump around rocks like a child.

It was a fantasticly beautiful and sunny day out and only the day after did we discover that less then ten miles away it had been doing this.
