Make/model?

I've got a new pair of jeans I need to wash. Hopefully they don't come out too small. I have pretty much two pair of jeans with no holes in them. One of those pairs fits me. I really need a good pair as back-up in case of the other getting messed up somehow.

As a result all my pants no longer fit. I'm all set for work pants, but I need casual pantstrousersjeanstypesofthings suggestions.

I've pretty much got no sense of style so I'm pretty much open to anything except assless* chaps or culottes.

*I would say arseless chaps, but that doesn't look right on the internet.

Just buy corduroy pants in a bunch of colors. Cords=nice dude butt.

THIS! for some reason it drives me crazy when people are wrong about this.

Also I second cords, some reason dudes in cords drive me mad.

Wash on cold, hang to dry. I do that with all of my jeans now. Then put them in the dryer for like 5 minutes to soften 'em up a little.

Assless cords?

The extra letter:
Not that I'm one to belittle cords (I have a favourite pair of greyish-greenish cords I've loved to tatters), but I don't think cords would really suit me at the moment, they've always seemed to be one of those pieces of clothing you need to be at least vaguely trim to pull off. ATM, I'm a bit dumpy. The advice *is* appreciated, though.

I'll also remember not to say "assless/arseless chaps in the future, heh.
