So, I have a question about 501s, now that you have mentioned them: Are they all supposed to shrink to fit? If so, why is there so much room for the waist to shrink and so little for the leg? If not, why the hell does a 32-inch waist leave me with maybe 6" of extra denim at the waist, while still being skintight on my legs?
I always see people say that 501s are the widest cut that people can generally pull off while looking good. I also read that 505s have a smaller leg opening (is that thigh leg opening, or ankle leg opening?), but I can fit in 505s, can't fit in 501s. Did I just try on a mislabeled pair of pants?

I got these boots today! I found them at Value Village for $15 and they are in pretty flawless condition, I love them so much
I can't figure out a way to wear them with my skinny jeans though, I have toothpick thin legs and in comparison these make my feet look gigantic and goofy. do I really need to buy new pants to go with these? should I just roll up the ends of my jeans?
