...most are for bedroom usage only...

This is kind of how I feel about it. I feel like when I am not perpetuating the image of a young school girl, I feel like I am dressing up for role playing as a school girl. That its some overly sexual thing, I really shouldn't wear it out of the house. This isn't helped by the fact that whenever I wear it my boyfriend basically mauls me.

Also, since I am bored and sick and at home, and wanting more dresses, anybody care to hook me up with some links to some good sites?

I think it depends on the length of it. I think ones that are mid thigh and longer are fine and are quite cute, but once they become mini skirts, it's pushing it.

Men are culturally programmed to find it hot.

Anyway I like it, cultural programming or not, though slutting it up with one doesnt really work. Its really the bottom half of a really clean look else super slutty

Ugh, is that supposed to be an AK-74SU? That is so badly out of proportion that it looks more like Sarah Brady's kindergarten drawings. I wouldn't be caught dead with that.

For best effect, imagine me as a snooty English fashion designer.

In that case, shouldn't you be pointing out that it is not supposed to imitate the AK-74SU, but rather represent the idea of it and as such the proportions are modified to better express an idea rather than an object?

Oh my god.  That all just came off of the top of my head.  Who am I?

Somebody find a money clip of two arms, one on either side of the money.  The clip would then be hugging your money.  This is clearly the best idea ever.

I agree, the looseness around the stomach of the first outfit doesn't look good. That tends to be a problem with just about any woman wearing hoodies, and that top seems to be quite similar to a hoodie, just possibly without a hood.

I know people who have real jobs(important ones! Like scientists and neurosciences and lawyers and greenhouse gase systems people things), that dress however they like(in several cases, denim shorts, etc) outside of work. so I don't think that's the solution.

I don't think it's so much that the shorts are denim, but also cutoffs which don't usually look good and that they're supposedly tight.  I can imagine few cases where that might look alright and a lot where it would be kind of gross.

In my mind it is a knee length pair of tight denim cutoffs with like slip on vans style shoes or something and that is where I am going "no wait, I actually like that" though it would change dramatically if they are short shorts.

I should say that the shorts are cut above the knee, and tight. Dude does not have the thighs to be showing off, to be honest? Apparently this is some kind of trend at the moment. Combined with the slip ons it just turns the whole outfit into a whole bunch of unattractive leg.

Originally, like Bassist, I was thinking of the rural fashion (like chicks [or dudes] wearing cutoffs so short the pocket linings poke out and loafers or something similar), which is definitely worse. But for this, if they are too tight and/or too short, please think twice before walking out the door. Really I think that should apply to any shorts, not just denim. But luckily it's gotten colder here, so I don't see girls walking down the street in hot pants and stilettos anymore, so I don't have much to complain about with shorts anymore.
