For something less controversial

I just got this skirt and I have been wearing black tights with it, but I am wondering if it'd be tacky with bright ones*

Also, I just got this hat as a gift like a week ago and now I think it's gone :c so it is commemorated in this thread.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes to the bright tights. Though I always feel a bit like an American Apparel ad when I wear them with tight skirts :/

Also, goddamn your figure.

Sorry Andy, but there's something a little off about the skirt-tank top combination. The shirt's a little too casual, but I do really like the skirt.

Also, I've been absent for so long. I'm going dancing on Friday so I'll try to put together a killer outfit and take a picture or two to show you cats what this game's really about. I've gotten pretty fat though, so don't judge. Fat or no fat, I'm still pretty decent at fashion.

Im taking the opposite stance. I really like the combo. Usually the clean white top with high wasted back bottom looks great. But something about that greyish off whiteish sloppy top sings to me. Some sort of dirtbag chic. Like someone who doesnt care but casually has impeccable fashion sense. Its like having bed hair instead of making bead hair with mounds of product.

I just assumed that Andy was taking the photo specifically for this thread and specifically for the skirt only. I might be wrong but I assumed she would not be wearing the skirt with that top usually.

Actually I do, I prefer looser tank tops with pencils skirts, I don't like button-ups with them because uh, I want to avoid looking like a teacher/librarian/etc.

Also because it's more comfortable. I figure that loose tanks and waisted skirts are a matter of taste though.

I purposely go for the teacher/librarian/secretary look with pencil skirts. In fact, I am going to buy more for next winter and it's going to be my thing.

I didn't know where else to post this, and since it had to do with cheap clothes, I figured I'd say something here.

I don't know if any of you shop at Old Navy, but right now their jeans and sweaters are on sale for $15, and if you spend over $20 at the store(not online), you get a free copy of Lego Rock Band. Which is think is a pretty sweet deal.

I'm not hating it! I am observing its similarity to a garment commonly seen in a piece of popular culture much beloved by eight-year-old boys in the nineties. It looks practical and warm, but also kind of like this

Actually it's still a much beloved piece of popular culture, students in my classes routinely refer to it. My favorite "they didn't realize I was so much older than them" moment was the class where I was surprised that show was still on the air because I remember watching the first episode with my college roommate, and one girl was like "wait I was 8 when that came out."
