Haha, that is awesome. I'll make sure to let my brother know he shouldn't bring the hat if he's going over there (and I end up not changing the hat). Or maybe he should, because that sounds hilarious.

34Ds ... a kinda weird size

I was going to be surprised that you thought this was a weird size, and then I remembered that the US has different sizings. Then I looked up what size it would be and went back to stance one. It's getting hard to find bras with a back size that's smaller than 32, unless the cup is like A or B. I suppose it says something about Britain's obesity problem.

Also I love that hat, but it does look a bit odd on you. It is definitely a teenage boy with a graffiti habit kind of hat.

I have a hat like that and it's really comfy and warm and great for wearing when I didn't get out of bed early enough to shower before class and my hair looks like poop. :)

This is from a few pages back but I just purchased two pair of earrings from the etsy site that BrittanyM linked to, because they are SO GOSH DARN CUTE. And I need new jewelery if I am going to transform from a scary lady into a princess! Also I seem to lose all my tiny studs and these ones have closed clasps so this will help me greatly! Hooray thank you fashion thread (they will be here in 3 days).
They are these http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=36958485

Ladybug: that hat is great and anyone should be proud to wear such a well crafted hat! Seriously, I am jealous of your skills. My fella wears the hat that I made him even though it has a hole on the top and stretches to one side more than the other! People appreciate handmade gifts because they are awesome!

Dovey: I think that is the most important thing I got out of looking at the photo shoot, the tiny thumbprints at the bottom highlighted the RIDICULOUS looks that the male models were doing. Choice. I guess that is kinda sad to admit when there were all those boners around but yes.

I think it'd look fine on a guy. On ladies I like beret-style slouch hats better, but yeah, hats like that seem to be worn by every guy around here under the age of about 20, give or take a year or two.

Those are some pretty great earrings, Kat.  After looking at the facebook group I'm gonna check out the store.  Depending on prices a few things looks really nice for gifts.

edit: holy dang, these are all quite a lot cheaper than I was expecting them to be considering they are crafty hand-made stuff on etsy.

I used to have a hat like that! Coincidentally when I decided I was going to stop selling weed it completely disappeared forever.

I really loved that hat.

Also I guess in the last week or so I've started wearing beaters under all my button ups, sort of just because, and it's awesome. I don't really know why, but the slightly exposed wife beater under like, a 2 button undone shirt seems substantially more sexual than just my chest being exposed.

Plus I can take the shirt off and I'm all muscly and shit.

Or, preferably, any wool slacks with a crease.  You only need one pair of woolen slacks, one collared white shirt, possibly a sports jacket, and you have the perfect outfit for:

-- cocktail parties
-- wine tastings
-- upper class bordellos
-- cultural events involving the word "vibrato"
-- international espionage in a foreign embassy

And all this can be yours for just $40 at your local discount/last-call fashion outlet!

I often favour the white shirt under button-up look as it seems to crank up the 50's-ness a notch. Always a good thing.

Also coincidentally I have been majorly crushing on slouchy beanie looking hats here for a little while, but I really have no idea if they'll suit me at all.

I've been favouring the white t-shirt under button-up look, lately.

I have also been experimenting with sleeveless t-shirts and singlets. Until recently, you'd have had more luck getting me to wear a dress. They are comfortable, however. Also, they can look fairly nifty.

My fashion-related question is that, assuming one is male and inclined to wear a sleeveless t-shirt in leopardprint, would this look entirely silly under a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up?

Pussy, it's been above freezing all week, I've been considering going to my summerweight jacket if this keeps up, I would ditch the jacket all together if I weren't allergic to exposing any more skin than absolutely necessary.

Why are you taking a woman's/gender studies course (I assume that's what it is)? I considered taking one when I needed a few extra credits right before the semester started this semester, but I realized I would probably get lynched when my sarcasm, irony and misanthropy got misinterpreted as misogyny. I also wouldn't be able to resist finding as many ways to insert the phrase "rule of thumb" into conversation as I could.

I used to be really engaged in feminist thought, and action to some degree. I sort of lost my motivation and engagement with it about 6 months ago, and I thought taking a theory class would reengage me in the principles I used to value so highly. As it turns out I'm still not that into it, while the ideas still sound good to some extent the way it is being presented remains really unappealing.

I had to give it a shot though.

Ah I didn't check your profile and see that you're in Norway.  Yes, I suppose that as long as you aren't wearing something that implies church burning, you're doing alright.  (Sorry.)

In my late teens I was wearing an oversized quilted coat and waiting for the bus in Montreal.  A bunch of kids came up to me and asked me to sell them weed.  I said I didn't have any.  The response, and I quote:  "Then you shouldn't fucking wear that coat."

You demonstrated JUST hold old you are to anyone with a remote knowledge of rap music and/or past fashion trends. I love it.

Good thing we aren't cousins IRL then cuz we should totally make out.

I mean you could always go in trying to be respectful of the course, its participants, and its syllabus
Or you could try not being a sexist

Today I wore a black dress with flowers embroidered in it with neutral yarn, belted it around the waist, wore it with some red knee-high nylons, black knee-high boots and a black hooded wrap sweater.  Not the best, but it's clothes all right!

Today I am wearing skintight black Lee Riders, a cream tank top and a long peachy-pink cardigan. On my feet are dark brown flip-flops. I accessorised today with my cream leather watch, a small silver heart locket, my Big Nerdy Glasses, and a brown and cream spotted bow in my hair.
The cardigan is comfy but has moth holes and the tank top is a bit scruffy and there are a few stains on the jeans that a good wash would fix. Also I have hot pink nailpolish remnants on my finger and toenails and a big pimple on my neck under my left ear.

It's like a robot pendant hanging from the necklace, right?  Not a necklace made up of an actual robot, sort of ouroboros style?  Because that would be too cool.

Today I am wearing my blue skinny jeans (Big W brand, finally fit me after about 4 years), a white bonds tank top and a white and blue singlet over the top. The singlet has a pattern on it that reminds me of old person china plates, and it too low cut to wear without something underneath. Oh, I am also wearing my black flip-flops, as I have to keep going up and down stairs to do the laundry.

I am accessorising with the silver snake bracelet I have worn since I was 14 (almost constantly) and a dark blue hair tie on the same wrist. I call it "staying at home chic".

I'm also rocking the stay at home look with black fatigue pants and a black Slayer t-shirt.

I am accessorising, I guess, because I'm wearing two Angelspit bracelets (the rubber ones that you see people wearing that say things like "Make Poverty History" or "Yay Niceness" or whatever except mine say "Pretty Cannibal Girl" and "Cyberpunk Riot Squad") on my left wrist and four other bracelets on my right hand. Also two rings on my right hand made from black brushed stainless steel.
