Thanks, dudes. BrittanyMarie, I definitely think feeling put-together is part of why I like it so much. There is also a part of me that is kind of the most shy girl, and heavy lip color sort of runs a little contrary to that and empowering in that way, too. It's just very much like a, "Hey look at my FACE, guys" and that's a pretty courageous invitation to make. We'll see how it works out IRL, though.

Yesss, exact same feelings here. There's something really daunting about bright lip colour - and not just the fact that you can look like a tit wearing it. I can wear all the eye makeup in the world and not feel self-conscious, but I rarely even think about putting lipstick on.
Anyway, good luck with it, Yunior. Let us know how it goes!

I am probably alone in this, but I am not a huge fan of dark lipstick and bright red lipstick. It looks like you could easily pull it off and look good, and other people would say you look good, but I would say that you look good in spite of that.

I think that there is something very black-and-white-movie beautiful about you in those pictures. The color is flattering to you and your features are so petite and dainty that it isn't all "Whoa! Giant red lips!" Wear the lipstick. You look great.

Ok, fashion thread, what do we think of this dress? The style of it mainly. Does it seem to suit me?
I would have bought it, but it was a bit too... spacious in the chest area. And they didn't have the next size down. But I've decided I need a 'liittle black dress', and if this is a good style for me, I'll continue the search for a size that fits.
