I think the poofy skirt is great, mainly because the rest of it is so chic. I mean, if it were not poofy, it would still look good, but it wouldn't be as fun. Also, if you had ruffly things going on in other places, it would be too busy. I think it's nicely balanced.

The fishnets/stockings thing is awesome and I really should try that sometime.

Hey guys, I need new clothes because my current style is awful and consists of jeans and t-shirts and nothing else. SO. I want you guys to recommend me clothing stores that have clothes of a similar style to Urban Outfitters. By Urban Outfitters, I mean, the nice, non-ironic-hipster stuff.

I get most of my clothes from Target and stores that are directed toward the more urban segment of the population. but then again, I wear whatever I find comfortable rather than worrying about fashion.

The ruffles on the dress are a bit hit and miss with people, it's definitely a personal taste thing. They've grown on me actually.

Wafflecone, I agree with these guys, it's super cute and I like that it isn't too tight. I've seen so many girls pulling this look off but it looks like they are trying to cut off circulation to their brains.

We had a sunglasses competition in the photo thread not long ago didn't we?

I very very nearly bought a pair of blue Wayfarers (genuine) on Sunday except I gots no money and I probably own too many pairs of Wayfarers as it is, even though they are The Best Sunglasses.

Fashion Thread, the only clothing I have bought in ages was a black+white American Apparel ringer tee. This makes me sad.

No contacts, I just cannot get them in my eyes and I love wearing glasses. I just get prescription lenses put in. I'm glad I grabbed those frames when they were on sale too, otherwise it would have been even more expensive.

Zombiedude: it's quite common for people who cannot see without their glasses on and need to wear them all the time. I just carry them around in my handbag and swap my glasses over when it gets too bright or when I'm driving.

I love wearing glasses though! I hate not having them. I basically just find pairs I love because it is something I wear every single day. I don't really have any problems wearing glasses and don't particularly want surgery or whatever. I love my glasses.

I had prescription sunnies, but my eyes are still getting worse, so I am doing the contacts + normal sunglasses deal. Otherwise my prescription will change and my sunnies won't work as well as they shoud (and that is a problem if I was wearing them while driving).

I love my glasses, and like how I look wearing glasses a little more than when I am not wearing them. I have had my red frames for a few years now, so I am thinking of getting different frames when I need new lenses, which will probably be the end of this year/early next year. I am thinking of dark brown frames, maybe a little more rounder than the ones I have now.

i love wearing glasses but i love wearing cheap ridiculous sunglasses as well. also, as much as i like how i look in glasses i hate how uncomfortable they get when getting rained on, or how it is impossible to cuddle or watch a movie while wearing them. once i have contacts again my plan is to wear fake eyeglasses that i can take off whenever. this is probably a super dorky thing to do but i think i am okay with that.
