Most things are more comfy without a bra.

Not if you are a 32G. Then you have to wear sports tops to bed.

Also, I would like the ladies here to look at this blog & tell me if they agree 90% of the people on here are/were deeply datable. Then I'd like to point out to the men, this is the best selection of how men should look I've ever seen.

I'm fully prepared to be disagreed with, but all the old SNL cast members & amazing glasses/suits/shoes on view here are great to me x

I saw a Perry Ellis sweater in a thrift store for like 16 dollars, but I'm not 100% on it. It fit, but I wasn't too sure about the pattern.

I wish I could find a picture so I could get the opinion of the Internet. It was a brown hoodie with light yellow and brown square forming stripes (is there a name for that?) on it.

This is why I need people to come shopping with me. I can't ever make up my mind about this kind of stuff.

Actually, check that. She says that it was about when she was thinking "My god, these guys dress like Woody Allen," followed by Woody Allen actually appearing that she started laughing.

It probably was the 70's....

I like guys that look a little like woody allen. I'm interested to know what sort of man your sister normally goes for now?

I would say I like men that look like Michael Caine, but my Dad looks just like him, so that would be weird....

She's dated mall goth weekenders to very conventional guys, but never anything like what you linked. It's kind of ironic since she's a huge nerd herself, but I think that blog pinpointed the one category she wouldn't go for. With the exception of the weekender, they've usually been pretty built.

I'd say something about wearing red wings before it was cool here, but that seems kinda sketchy considering that you could say the same thing about by dad, my grandfather and a whole shit ton of people that routinely work harder than my sorry ass.

Fair enough Alex, that's probably the two types of guys I haven't dated...I honestly love a man in suit/slacks and casual shirt combo.

I like the fact my boyfriend used to wear proper shirts whilst playing REALLY fast nasty music.

I like the fact my best friend wears 3 piece suits and a cravat.

I don't really know if this is the right place to post this, but...

so I'm sort of in love with roller derby and my grandma said she'd get me skates for hannukah. where does one get nice derby skates for not crazy crazy amounts of money? I know almost nothing about brands and stuff and I don't want to waste her money on skates that are crap.

Which country are you in?

If you want to save money you could get in touch with your local league and see if there's any second-hand skates going, I guess.

This is the place to go in Aus, but they import most of their stuff from the US I think so you could probably get it cheaper (if you're in the US, just assuming here...). Good to take a look at their skates anyway as all the brands and models are reccomended for or specificzlly designed for derby.

Er, what? Do you mean just button-downs? I wouldn't consider anything flannel to be nice shirts, plaid or not. It can make for some pretty warm shirts, though. Where have you been looking? I bought a really nice burgundy one with brass snaps at Wal-mart a year or maybe more ago, looks good when I'm going for respectable, but not fancy.

A number of sites have loads of plaid shirts before they actually get to the regular shirts. They aren't actually flannel, but I blame flannel for this dumb plaid trend.

Because complaining about how difficult it is to scroll through a handful of shirts you don't like on a website is adding something valuable to this thread?

Plaid has been in for a while. Dark plaid was cool with grunge, then it kind of faded, then we got this bright plaid stuff.
Everybody's got opinions on shit, I think plaid looks good on some but never wear it myself.
I'm willing to bet Andy looks darn great in plaid.

I don't know if such a thing exists? Depends on your "moderately priced" criteria.
I've never seen a new blazer in a shop for a price I was willing to pay, but I do own many nice second-hand blazers that were cheap. I am, I think, pretty average or slightly smaller than average so blazers fit nice off the discount rack. If he is the kind of guy who might fit into average clothes and doesn't mind going to second hand shops every once in a while, that is, I think, the way to go.

I'd agree with you. I think I've already mentioned to others how incredibly attractive I found actors of that time frame, specifically young Marlon Brando. (oh hey, I love that on page 5 there's a shot from Harold and Maude. My leg tattoo is named after that movie; it is so awesome)

(also man i disagree about the boobs, i'm a 36G and I still go braless at every possible opportunity except not in public)
(and if that guy in the first picture wasn't wearing jeans that'd be a perfect outfit)

picture of some dick in yellow pants

I don't think plaid in general has become a trend. I think obnoxious plaids with no subtlety to the colour combinations have become a trend. Maybe I am biased because like 50% of my buttony shirts are plaid, but I inherited most of them from my dad so they were made in a time when people didn't wear yellow pants with a shirt that makes them look like Christmas.

This is the plaid shirt that I am still wearing, it is very nice and comfortable it is not really a flannel material at all but still comfortable. Some of you will probably think it's too bright, but remember that it is winter here so everything is usually worn under layers and shit. I normally wear it open and look like a grunge kid but I dun care ilunirvana
