Bit hard on people who have that as a name or part of their website URL! e.g. the photographer Kike Calvo.

That's rather the point - it's easy to sidestep the ban in words, but not in a URL.  Kike seems to be a not uncommon name - so far I have found it in Spanish, Dutch, Finnish, Swahili...

SAM you should get a cigarette case. Not only are they sturdier so your smokes don't break, but they look way better. Like this or this or this or this

not enough fashions in the fashion advice thread!

i bought this necklace from the art gallery on the way home from work today and not even an hour later a stranger stopped me on the street to tell me how neat it was and ask me where i bought it! art galleries, that's the place to shop for jewelry that gets you compliments. i need to remember that one.

you can't tell from this photo but it is glass and the circle bits are actually slivers of wood that have somehow been fused in there. it's really neat! also, made by a local artist so also extremely affordable. man i love the art gallery.

I bought some boots!

Those get an A+, as my sole criteria for boots is: must feasibly be able to imagine a pirate wearing them. I hate high-heeled stiletto things with a passion — they defy the innately practical nature of boots as an item of footwear!

I'm getting this soon.

It's kinda cool though, it's been faded to fit my wallet and cellphone.
