My mom's surgery went pretty well, they're pretty sure the cyst was benign.  And I got a new 360 from Microsoft.  Feeling pretty good right about now.

I am going to deck this annoying student at the community art school next door to my art store if she insults me one more time. She thinks she's being funny, but she's being annoying as shit. Also, she hits my coworker in attempts to be funny (I guess) and he hates it. Basically she's stupid and sometimes I want to shove her in front of a bus.

I watched the first few episodes of the Office's second season today as part of my Summer of Loneliness TV Marathon. Jim and Pam are in their adorable/totally inappropriate flirty phase; Jim is crazy delicious (that is the plot).

I didn't intend to have a Summer of Loneliness TV Marathon this summer, it is just a thing I happened upon, like: "Oh, I have no friends in the city I'm in, and that's probably why I'm watching mind-numbing amounts of television after work everyday to subsidize my own unhappiness." Tomorrow I will probably watch The Simpsons.

I should not be awake... I have not slept...

I was up talking to this girl... And I played COD4... Next thing I knew, it was 7:30 and I was talking to that girl again...

Oh, yeah. Help.

What do I do if I find myself attracted to this girl, but she was at one point romantically interested in my best friend, but because of her own problems ruined her chances with him, but still harbored feelings for him long after, till the point where at one point neither I, nor any of her other close friends could talk to her without bringing him up in conversation, but now, she seems all flirty with me, and doesn't speak of him much anymore? If anyone actually bothered to read that, my apologies for the jumble, but my mind is awake and spinning with thoughts, and hurting and omg I think I want this girl.

That basically sounds like my summer, Yunior, only I have hung out with one friend a couple of times. And I have next week off from work, and will probably watch ridiculous amounts of TV. I also watched the start of season 2 of The Office (will probably watch the rest later, when I'm bored) this summer, for that same reason (Jim/Pam). And I'm working my way through Six Feet Under and 30 Rock, as well as rewatching Pushing Daisies with my youngest brother and rewatching an episode here and an episode there of other shows I really love. I've started on Oz and Arrested Development (seen one season of both) as well, but lost those when my hard drive died, so they will have to wait.

I'm done with my first three weeks of working, and have the next week off, which will be awesome. Then I have one week of work, and I'm off.. But at that point, the vacation is almost over :/ We've had a shitty summer so far, but I guess June and early July is usually pretty bad up here, it just sucks that Trondheim had a bad May as well..

Anyways, they keep complimenting me at work, but it feels weird, because I feel like I ask for help a lot (only maybe 4-5 times a day on average, but still) because I don't have a medical background, so sometimes I'm not sure what they're saying. And, I mean, I guess I don't suck at it, but it's basically just writing what people tell me to write, so how is that something that deserves compliments and bragging? And I could be doing much more than what I am doing, but the backlog was really short. It was only about 250 recordings, and eliminating that only took a week, so there isn't much to do, and I just..sit there and wait for new things to write, because I've only been taught the writing-process, all the other stuff the secretaries do I can't do. Which means I feel like I'm wasting time. Anyways, compliments (unfounded/undeserved ones, especially) really stump me, so I don't know what to say, and that just leads to awkwardness and making other people feel weird. But if I say thanks, I just feel silly and like I'm bragging.. Blah.

Yesterday I hung out with the lady because she was bored waiting for an interview and then after she got the job we went to a mall and hung out and she saw a power rangers wristband and I liked it and so she bought it for me. Then we met her sister there, got some blizzards at dairy queen and then I drove them home, and then went home and applied for a job at Gamestop. Then I spraypainted some miniatures and took a nap for a couple hours. Woke up, played bloodbowl with a friend who came over, got some food, then went to sleep again.
Now I have about 4 or 5 hours to paint quite a few miniatures. Woo.

Today is one of those days where I overanalyze things and come to the worst possible conclusion and waste time playing Solitaire.

However, I got a new ring for my nose during my lunch break and I'm headed to the bar with the boys tonight. I think it will be fun!

Blog Thread!

I am back home for a week. Luckily I will be looking after mum's place and not staying the the shithole that is Dad's place, but I still would rather be in Sydney. I have to go looking for bed frames for Dad's birthday and I am not really in the mood to because of how he has been acting lately. I also found a huge amount of empty alcohol bottles in the shed, which makes me want to break something. Also, I can't get my mouse to connect to my computer, so I have to use the touch pad.

Positive note: I get to play with my kitty for a week, and finally can read a story for andy's thread.

Every time she uses the phrase "u know" [sic] in an IM conversation (in German) I regret letting her put her tongue in my mouth. It really makes me sick.

In other news: tomorrow I'm going to meet the perfect girl, wish me luck!

so at work today we found a little baby bird in the guard office. it was the most adorable little birdie ever! it was so sad though cause we tried to give it food since it was in there for a while but he wouldn't eat so we named him shortbus (inside joke for dumb people+things). we then tried to take him back to the wild and the second we put him down he opened his mouth in a FEED ME type of way and we were all so sad. he was gone a few hours later, i hope nobody ate him. im afraid thats probably what happened though since he couldn't even walk yet.

then tonight there was gonna be a staff party for all the old skool rad kids who worked (i am a rad kid apparently whoo) but i didn't go cause i had prior hookah bar obligations plus my sister (we work at the same place) had obligations too and she's one of my main drinking buddies. plus there would be a girl there interested in me who i am not interested in and that would be bad. plus we got the bombest shisha tonight our boys at the hookah bar treat us so well.

edit: also i found john lennon glasses at work so i have glasses for heavy nugs now.

I'm in Rome.  I arrived last night, and head back to Florence tomorrow evening.  Woke up at seven thirty today, and the only time I sat down for more than five or so minutes was to eat dinner, until now.  My feet are killing me, but it was worth it.  Saw a bunch of galleries/museums, a number of churches, and enjoyed walking and exploring.  Took a few pictures, but not many.  Ate a lovely dinner.

Tomorrow, I'll do more walking.  I plan to hunt down a few of the Carravagio's that are hiding in churches.  Got to see some Fillipo Lippi's, Bernini's, Michaelangelo's for free by doing that today.

EDIT:  My condolences to you as well Robbie.  Fuck says it best, I guess...
