I keep hoping to hear the two I learned in elementary school...still waiting on that chestnut...and the pages are annoying to collect!

They're pretty easy once you know the routes. Some are super simple to catch while others make you earn them

I've considered buying it myself, but I remember how buggy AC3 was and the reason why I'm so apprehensive in the first place.

I've had one single glitch and it was solved by restarting the memory. No real issues otherwise.

Finally all done with the wreck diving side missions. Glad not to have to do any of those again.

I was actually looking forward to this game, but AC3 kind've ruined things for me. I am wondering if all the horrible game-wrecking bugs are gone from AC4.

I liked AC3. I wasn't huge on the naval combat, which made AC4 a bit tedious for having so much of it (apparently I'm the only one), but I still liked it overall.

I might be in the few with Method that enjoyed AC3, I especially enjoyed the hunting and the naval combat. I think we need to move back to a more vertical Assassin's Creed game instead of the horizontal ones the more recent have become.

I'm hoping for an all future AC game where you get to hop around skycrapers and make with the neckstabby.

What killed it for me was the reliance of horseback riding and how linear the game was. Like having to chase someone through the woods, on a horse without having the option to say... plan out a trap. I hated how boats moved in the game which is one thing that I am apprehensive about.

I was disappointed that they didn't bother to make the character outside the game...a character. Although having
(click to show/hide)
show up was a nice touch. Yeah, the real life levels in AC3 could've been done better...much better, but the solution wasn't to remove them entirely.

"Where do I go?! I could've SWORN I've been here already!" see, that was my thought in the real life sections of the game. To hear that they took them out, I was joyous.

I really prefer the old world feel of the creed games though. But my big problem with any of them is that you start making a shit tonne of gold and nowhere to really spend it after awhile.

I never had that problem! I never made enough to buy a lot and would beat the game with early gear.

Man, the only gear that ever made a real difference was armor. The combat has always been skill over stats, although of course early weapons always do noticeably suck.

Well in this game, armor really meant nothing. But in AC2, armor boosted health and looked good.

You haven't even played AC4, so how would you know? The armor upgrades do have a visual difference and honestly the extra health bars are really nice, especially once you start raiding the Frigates and Man O Wars.

I actually got decent armor and weapons in AC4 somewhat early, it was the boat I never upgraded that much, and that made the water missions hard.

I was surprised how early you can upgrade yourself. For most of the game I had all the pistols I could hold and all the health I could get.

I never had more than three pistols but I almost never shot anyone because using swords or hidden blades was so much more fun.

I dunno, the first thing I do when I board a ship is gun down the first 4 people I see, and the animation for him doing it is great. It also makes the fight against armored enemies that much easier.

I beat the game, time to fight the Legendary Ships

Looking back on it, I'm pretty sure ACII is still the best game in the series, and I'm not sure it's even close.
