I would guess all non-Brits end up being "Spectacularly South-East", but in the wrong country :-D

That's also Oxford University Press house style (and hence the preferred spellings in the OED); Cambridge falls the other way. Curiously, Oxford University recommends the use of s in its publicity guidelines. Some word processors have two British English spell-check settings to account for this.
