Wondering about the meaning of life, while drunk, seldom give meaningful answers. But apparently, Marten has started thinking. He needs change in life. Maybe he should try to get another job? Maybe get more serious with the band? What about a live performance at the Horrible Revelation?
Angus, by the way, has a rather good definition of a successful life.

He did reconstitute the band last time. He could avoid the problem of losing momentum by handing over organizational control to Hannelore.
