Okay, seriously, I can enjoy a bout of hating on Veronica and her embarrassing actions as much as anybody, but you're kind of pushing the line between comic canon and your own personal fanon here.
In case you need a reminder, was how much worse she made his misery after Dora dumped him.

Actually, there was the fact of her embarassing him when he was out. There was her dragging him around, showing embarassing pictures to his friends. Also, when he finally called her out on her behavior she shouted him down, made him apologize to her and apparently his friends thought this was fine, or at least said nothing to her about it. This isn't personal fanon, this is me pointing out what she did.
Is it cold in here?:
I still wonder how The Pugnacious Peach would have reacted if she'd been in earshot of that incident. I am thinking of how she faced down Hannermom.
