I like today's comic.
--- Quote from: Zebediah on 25 Apr 2014, 05:38 ---Jim, Jim, Jim. We need to talk, man. It's good that you shaved the soul patch for your date with Veronica, but YOU SHOULD HAVE SHAVED THE REST OF YOUR FACE TOO.
Or else grown the beard all the way out. This in-between stubble just shows a serious inability to commit.
--- End quote ---
Oh yes, I agree. This kind of looks like he just forgot to shave or didn't have time - which maybe is actually the case.
retrosteve:
Strangely, Jim left the patchy stubble, but seems to have Grecian-formula'd away the grey temples! And worn a suit.
Is he trying hard to look his best, but being lovably disorganized?
Or is he really into stubble?

--- Quote from: Storel on 25 Apr 2014, 04:16 ---Hahahaha, Dora, what a perfect response to Jim's saying "You're psychic"! :-D
Of course, while Sam is impressed with Dora's "psychic abilities", Jim will undoubtedly be suspicious that either (a) Dora knows this woman somehow, or (b) Dora's been stalking him. (For maximum drama, he would jump immediately to b.)
--- End quote ---
Thinking about it, I guess Jim has every reason to be very suspicious. Like a coincidence beyond belief, and beyond any rational explanation. Still, VV must have sought him out somehow, and initiated contact. Perhaps VV controls one of the NSFW websites Jim is a member of, leading him to theory (a). No doubt Jim is a long-time VV fanboy, and being contacted by VV herself must have been a dream come true.
Theory (b) requires serious hacking abilities. Dora might have hired Marigold to do the job.
Anyway, Jim should run away ASAP.
Neko_Ali:
I'm not sure why Jim is surprised at all? Unless Veronica didn't mention she's Marten's mom. I rather presumed that was by some way brought up as to why someone from the opposite coast even knew of him, let alone had a reason to contact him. That they had people they knew in common. Marten and Dora particularly, but the rest of the coffee shop crew as well.
I think it's a bit amusing myself that Dora went out with Marten, and a date with Jim, who is now going to go on a date with Marten's mom. :)
jwhouk:
I'm not seeing the green at all in any of the VV panels. (shrug)
He hasn't replied at all to how Dora knows the "Veronica" part. That's going to be an interesting way to start next week.
