Why would you do that?
serious answer: All of the middle parts of the pyramid applied to the dog. For the Com class we had to do community service and relate it to the class. Me and two friends in the class went to the humane society. They just rescued this little dog (looked like a shit zu or a similar looking dog) and it needed to get cleaned up and shaved (there was matted hair all over the poor little thing). It was very cautious about us but as we started talking to it, petting it, shaving it, washing it, and playing with it it started to change behavior after about 30 minutes with it. It's tongue was came out, smiled, little tail wagging like crazy and was hoping around us playing. It felt comfortable with us because we were giving it security, socializing with it, and all this was improving its confidence with us (humans). Not to mention getting a decent meal.
