It's a story about two brothers who suffer from a tragedy but get to spend their last time together doing what they love best. Isn't that at least bittersweet?

We have very different standards for "brilliantly done" I found the art kinda killed any sentimental damage it might have done.

Context: guy is arrested for trying to sell drugs to an undercover cop and tried hitting on her.  The pick up line made it into the court proceedings...he's not helping his case.

To the right people it is a compliment. The people I know use it to refer to someone who is muscular and strong while still being slender. A lot of my crushes are female wrestlers, for example, who could be described as 'thick.'

Well theoretically Obama could have ordered Quarantine protocol into place ending all travel from West Africa, which might have helped Dallas considering there is now a small outbreak. (Three people total counting patient 0)

i think that quarantining travel to and from an entire continent is probably no small feat; at least without massive international cooperation. would probably significantly hinder aid efforts as well.

while it's disconcerting that this is happening so close to home, the small number of lives saved by preventing small/controlled outbreaks over here would very likely translate to far more lives lost over there.

i may or may not have posted that at some point already.

West Africa and the affected nations are /hardly/ an entire continent, let's not get too dramatic J.

More lives would be lost by limiting travel? Boy you should go tell the CDC they have their quarantine procedures all wrong! The entire idea is to limit the travel of the disease to other countries, especially major travel hubs limiting the chance of ANY outbreak outside of the area that's already in the shit. Doesn't mean WHO, Doctors Without Borders or other aid groups aren't going in and out, just limits the flow of civilian travel, because that's just common sense.

I'm on the right.

West Africa and the affected nations are /hardly/ an entire continent, let's not get too dramatic J.
The problem is, the affected nations have rather porous borders, and the entire region suffers from civil administration that is somewhat rough around the edges. Quarantining just Guinea, Liberia, or even "West Africa" generally would simply encourage travel via more convoluted routes through other countries and regions, and this would make potentially infected travellers more difficult to track. Once such travellers started to reach, say, the USA via, Kenya, or South Africa, the present hysteria would probably demand quarantine for the entire continent.

So we should allow potential infected to travel, because not allowing them to would make it harder for them to do so?
