I've watched a bit of Let's Play of this game and it looks fucking wretched.
Yeah I watched game grumps attempt to play this and by the 4 or 5th video, Barry the video editor did like an 8 minute pre-video of just how unpolished the game was.  I don't think Arin and Danny are picking this one back up as it just seems really awful.  I think the cartoon this sonic universe is based on is a french production, I hope the show is better than the first hour's worth of game story.

Apparently when he was once challenged to a duel (and so picking weapon and place) by James Shields, he chose cavalry broadswords (because Shields was a good marksman). To demonstrate his advantage over Shields (Lincoln being 6'4"), he cut down a branch just over Shields' head.

i seem to recall something about him demanding that the duel be held in a 10' deep pit, divided in half by a chest-high fence, so that he could reach his opponent, but his opponent couldn't reach him.

You can't set a windows up to crash every 28 days, it'll do it for you way earlier.

This gets boring; most Windows users have moved on from the DOS-based versions, like fourteen years ago, you know!

(I have Windows servers running for six months or more, and my desktops also only stop when I need them to.)

I use Win7 most of the time, but in no way I have it up for 28 days on end. Last time I tried (this summer), the whole thing took a dump 22 days in.

Now I've never tried on servers. I assume they'd be more stable.

See, that's part of the reason why I don't understand the heavy usage of cars in the city I live in. Of course it can be a hassle to carry your groceries from the mall if you happened to do your shopping there, but asides from that, there aren't many distances longer than 1h of walking. And I say this being a lazy phat bastard. YOU CAN WALK EVERYWHERE IN THIS CITY.

Not everyone can do that though. With my back and legs, walking to the grocery store, which takes slightly under an hour normally, is going to physically wreck me for at least a day. Some days it's particularly bad and I can't even make it to the main road. And then carrying those groceries back is murder on my back. We do have a car culture in the US, where pretty much everyone is expected to own a car and drive it wherever they go. Part of it is consumerism. Buy more, buy more! But a part of it is that most US cities are built in very sprawling, homogeneous zones. The idea of just strolling down to the market just doesn't happen for most people, unless they happen to live close to commercial zones. Even going to the nearest convince store for me is a half hour walk. And this is no where near the worst place I've lived in as far as that goes.

Considering a 10 minute steep downhill walk to my campus, I assume roughly the same distance (half a mile to 1km). Not fun to walk back and then go up the 5 stories of the building my flat is right at the top of, but oh well. Excercise right. Plus, I get there mildly awake.

I also got enough exercise with the whole playing football thing which also mandated workouts 3-4 days a week on top of practice. I think it was more of a time thing, since class and all the football stuff (practice, film, lift, more film) would take so much of the day any time saved was pretty special.

I don't only do it for the exercise anyways. It's nigh-impossible to park close to my flat, and equally hard to park within acceptable distance of my campus. It's not hard it actually takes me longer to get to campus than walk there (a perfect driving maneuver would take roughly 8 minutes because of how streets and parking spots are laid out)

It does take me roughly half an hour to go back home, but it's both because of the HEAVY slope (flat is at the highest point of Santander, roughly 100m over sea level, while campus is almost at sea level) and the fatigue from the day of study and overall fooling around. And the 15 pound bag I carry everywhere with my laptop and notebook.

Way off. Amy is a hedgehog. This one is a cat named Aeris. Ergo the title of the comic VG Cats.
