Thought this was interesting though very broad:
Sikhism is akin to the Jedi Order

I still don't think I can muster the courage to play this game.

"Polar Express" is one of those films that is far too "Uncanny Valley" for me to endure.  And FF is also saying that "movie" is misspelt for me as well.
I'm waiting for the prequel "Cartesian Cog-rail".

This came to me courtesy of my aunt, in a consignment of goods from my late grandmother's kitchen. I have no clue what it is or what it's for, and I was hoping someone here might be able to enlighten me.

Two interesting videos today.

First skiers sking in the dark with light suits on:
And then there's this guy. The ballsiest human being on Earth. ISIS likes to leave high explosives/IEDs scattered all over villages they occupy in case they get beaten back, or as part of their exit strategy when they do. This Kurdish Peshmerga fighter is disarming these IEDs in Northern Iraq so people can return to their homes safely after the Peshmerga drove off ISIS. He's also doing it more casually then you tie your shoes in the morning.

That makes a lot more sense. I was thinking of a variation of one of these that I'd seen in a museum kitchen.

Spoilered for size.  The second one looks more like Glasgow to me.  Or for those of us in the US, the Deep South (tm) in general.

Glasgow would be more like Gundabad. As a Yorkshireman, I can say with some authority that Lancashire is a dark and evil place full of fell beasts and vile men.

Guinness, Sam Adams, and Newcastle are all just ok (to me), but they're better than the pisswater usually advertised.

You mean Bud light isn't the best beer EVER!? And if I see a bud light lime I'm going use it throw at the type of people who bring bud light lime to parties.

But Guinness is my favorite, though I have a strong, sentimental connection to it. So that probably has some effect.

There are so many stouts that are better than Guinness. An extreme example, I just bought a bottle of Dogfish Head's World Wide Stout the other day...but I'm not going to drink it for at least a year.
