Basically this.

I came to terms with there being nothing after death a long time ago. It was absolutely terrifying as a concept for 11-year old Luke.
But, if anything, it makes me appreciate the life I have even more.

Oddly enough it's bothered me more lately than it used to. Sometimes I wish I did believe in an afterlife.

I'm basically in that same boat.  I don't believe, but I don't have enough conviction of the contrary to deny.  Personally, I would hope that I could get reincarnated as a rather spoilt cat.

What are these near-imperceptibly tiny flying bugs that are swarming the hot summer air - and after I opened my window, my room - by the thousands? They're almost too tiny to squash and there's too many of them!
