I've seen way too many dogs getting happy for all reasons imaginable... So I stopped taking their happiness all too seriously when I compare "affection levels" between pets.

Considering Marten now has no shirt, is with Emily, and Tai has shipped Marten and Emily in the past, I'm going to guess Tai.
Then again, he's also with Sam, so that guess is likely full of shit.
