There is something odd about the face. I don't know what. I think I would  had slight doubts were it not for the smoothy.

I don't think it's a lethal bite. But it can definitely hurt a lot, and that happening to Emily worries me. We've always seen her in a (sometimes overly) cheerful mood, I'm not sure how she would react to this.

Also I feel like the speech bubble in the first panel should point in the other direction.
