Yes, and its a step she took herself instead of having someone do it for her. Help is fine and all but sometimes you need to do something for yourself to prove to yourself that you can.

Good for Faye. Good for the story, too; it remains appropriately heavy because she's obviously struggling and  hasn't been magically cured, but there's hope and promise in her resolve.

That first step is always the most difficult.  It's not going to be an easy journey but each step after the first is slightly easier than the last.

listens "what was that, people who were insisting that Faye's drinking wasn't alcoholism? You've changed your mind?!"

I like that this arc portrays alcoholism in a slightly different light. People are taught to look for specific signs of alcoholism in movies and tv, and honestly those signs are not always how alcoholism presents itself.
