Mad Max: Fury Road

<< < (16/17) > >>

Method of Madness:
Or maybe several guys named Max!

Neko_Ali:
It's been a while, but I seem to remember that Max has his Challenger in the first move, but not the second or third. In Fury Road, he has it at the start of the movie, but gets captured in the opening sequence by the Warboys and loses the car. Which would seem to indicated the whole 'Fits between Mad Max and Thunderdome' storyline.

Method of Madness:

Seems legit.

The Seldom Killer:
Mad Max - Ford Falcon Pursuit Special
Mad Max 2 - Ford Falcon Pursuit Special
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome - Camel Drawn ATV
Mad Max Fury Road - Ford Falcon Coupe

Also, all films follow the original film and Wikipedia states Thunderdome follows 2 therefore there is a presumption of linearity

de_la_Nae:
Wikipedia exists to impose order where it is neither useful nor important.

The metaphor I'm going to use is pretentious, but it's like having a masterful painting in front of you, and insisting on trying to understand it by examining the molecular structure of the paint.

I mean maybe you'll get something out of it, okay, but probably not what you're looking for.

Still, I've said what I feel I need to on the matter, no need to keep repeating myself so I'll stop.

(click to show/hide)Considering I spent tonight overanalyzing Weyland-Yutani's 'plan' in Alien and Aliens, I have no room to throw stones.
