Faye wore a welding mask and apron in 2464, but also worked with bare arms and legs (which Jeph pointed out was a really bad idea).

Method of Madness:
Carol never wore her safety goggles. NOW SHE DOESN'T NEED THEM.

Zebediah:
Safety goggles, people. Use them. I'm partly blind in one eye, not because of an accident but due to a congenital defect - and this has made me very protective of my one good eye, because basically I only get one mistake in that department.

It's roughly the same expression my doctor had on when explaining what he was going to do about a couple spots on my back. Holding up the electrocautery wand, he said: "You're gonna smell steak cookin'."
