In case we're still wondering:  This is the same vowel as the first syllable of English "attack."  The markings after the vowel are elongation and a low-rising tone.

I know no Vietnamese, so I have no idea if that's actually the correct pronunciation, but it's what Wikipedia says.

So it's basically "fff" followed by a pause? Because "low rising" on that vowel is removing it altogether.
