This is odd; she doesn't seem threatening (although Clinton has the sort of personality that would feel threatened nonetheless). I can't help but wonder what she needs that hundred dollars to cover. Food? Rent? Pusher? It may just be how my brain works but I think that there is a story here.

This reminds me of the behaviour of some of the children in care I work with and how their personality can suddenly swing around from friendly to demanding. "I need a hundred dollars, I need it now and I won't take any excuses. If you refuse, I'll self-harm myself at you until you comply!"

I guess any thoughts of this being Clinton's third attempt at a relationship have gone out of the window.

However, it's Thursday, not Friday; so what twist can we find that might conceivably redeem this character and lead to a suitable cliff-hanger?  I can't think beyond her superior appearing to tell her to knock it off - but it needs more than just that.

Personally, I'm thinking that Clinton is gong to face an 'embarrassment of riches' scenario.

First Pictoria says "Only kidding; you're cute in a gullible and easily-intimidated way! I'd date you even if that other girl won't!" Then he goes outside to run into Emily, who says that she has some spare time now and she'd really like a second date. He's just accepting when Brun texts him saying "Having thought about it, I find you attractive too."
