Drove to St. Louis with a friend the day before, stayed there overnight, and then drove to Chester, IL. Original plan was to head west into Missouri, but the weather was looking bad. The clouds were a little threatening, (while not blocking the sun), until about 15 minutes before totality, when the clouds all disappeared. About 15 minutes after totality, though, the clouds came back and it started storming. Some pictures I got (first one's from a digital camera my mom gave me as a Christmas present about 10 years ago, the other are from my phone).
