Thanks. Now I learned the etymology of our "Vakka kantensa valitsee..." A more or less literal German-to-Finnish translation, with identical use and meaning.
Is it cold in here?:

Without wanting to sound nit-picky, if Tilly is NB as suggested by their preferred pronouns then they most likely aren't a woman (while I've seen people use both to describe themselves, it's rare enough that one shouldn't assume any other qualifiers in conjunction with NB).

You're right, we should be careful to avoid assumptions.
I admit I don't know what to call a non-binary person when the only answer they've given has been about pronouns.

Tilly & Station is neat fun, but honestly I'm more interested by Hanners' progress in this strip. Not just the wicked tan, but she just looks so...comfortable. I can't quite place it, just something about her posture/body language...she looks more at home in her own skin than I remember.
Really looking forward to her reuniting with the main story to see how she fits in now.

If I understand things correctly, Matilda's (Tilly's) sex presents as F (has there been any indication that they're in transition? I don't recall any) but their gender is NB. Station is a non-corporeal/non-anthropoid AI whose sex is NA but whose gender is M and who chooses to project a male physical presence (paging Arnold Judas Rimmer). Station certainly has the wealth and computational resources to have a male android body if he wants one to wear, but as far as we know he has not elected to do so. So, this strongly suggests that intimacy to him isn't so much about physical contact.
If whatever they do is working for both of 'em, more power to 'em. It's no one else's God damn business.

"Person" works as a noun.
