Eh, Bubbles and Faye have a healthy intimate relationship.
That said, what I'm taking from this is that Faye distracted Bubbles because she really doesn't want to talk about her moment of temptation. It happens. Something bad happens or you feel like you've had a moment of personal failure, someone close to you keeps trying to cheer you up or encourage you and you just want them to stop, because you want to move on from dwelling on that moment.

Tough to choose only three. I went for these:
Marten - I need to get an adult life!
Roko, Melon & Elliott - Living with a new me
Hannelore - I want someone to be able to hold me
It's all about the character development. I agree that Marten is somewhat overdue for some. In the recent Roko strips we've seen Melon become more than just the goofball she started off as, and I'd like to see that continue. And it feels like Hannelore's story is unfinished; I don't think we will see the rest, but I would like to.
