And I kinda like how when Marigold came in instead of typical anime misunderstanding first thing she saw was May hip joints looking exposed. Both Dale and Marigold really try to be good supportive friends to May and that is stuff I love.

At times I get the wild notion that May's just going to deiced that instead of getting a brand new chassis to just get the repairs to bring her current one up to decent operational status, plus maybe a few personal tweaks.

Hmmm.... I wonder if some AI have a psychological need for social contact like humans? Can AI become "touch starved"?

I think we can see a lot of May's character growth in the fact that her response to an offer of a hug is now "OK, why not" rather than "I DON'T DO HUGS."
