Cornelius:
That reminds me of the time when I tried to get pizza out of the oven at the end of a long, trying day, and the oven door imploded. No more oven, no more pizza, and no take out at that time.
BenRG:
Well, there's their 'meet-cute'. At some point Renee is going to realise her life is a romcom and ask Brun why her life is a romcom. Brun, of course, won't have any knowledge about it and will ask Elliott and Clinton about it. I'm not sure exactly where that will take things. However, I'm expecting Elliot to quote Marten from before Jim and Veronica met: "Which makes me the straight man. I hate being the straight man!"
If a man had made such a huge social gaffe, he might say that he 'wasn't thinking with the head on my shoulders'. Do ladies have a similar saying? Renee was certainly so eager to start a communication that she was acting without thinking, which I suspect may be a feature of her side of Danee, no matter how long it lasts or how serious it gets!

Renee was a goth girl in high school. I'm wondering if she had her own unflattering nickname that he'll use in response and this will be considered 'flirting' rather than the precursor to a fight. You can tell that I don't get how they do romances in the entertainment media, can't you?
Case:
Is there a term for stuffing both your feet into your gullet and munching on the calves for good measure?
Tova:
This is a completely believable verbal gaffe from her, but to get all that into a text before your brain catches up after saying out loud that she ought not severely strains my willing suspension of disbelief.
Farideh:
Renee's brain didn't slip so much as that it went comatose for 20 mins
