So, it's proven that, not only did Aurelia know the fetish implications of her screen-name, she's cynically willing to exploit it for clicks and publicity. So, she's got a lot future ahead of her as a streamer. I wonder if she also does rant videos when she talks about artistic or political matters about which she has no real knowledge?

I've got to say that I'm not really comfortable with the "MommyMilkers" avatar. I guess the feeling is that Jeph is being the cynical one and using Aurelia as his means.

I'm pretty sure that the point, to Jeph, is to let his readers laugh at Clinton's reaction to the fact his mother is streaming through a 'sexy' anthro-cow filter. However, I've got to say that it personally leaves me cold and it is just an eye roller and a total miss for me: Something from which I intend to move on from as soon as and efficiently as possible.

In universe, I absolutely refuse to believe that Aurelia doesn't understand the fetish implications and, honestly, I can't see her viewing MommyMilker as her 'inner self'. It just doesn't scan right as being in-character for me. So, yeah, she's selling her stream by appealing to a certain bit of the Internet and nothing more.

do you notice that you're taking a character who we've explicitly seen is playing with music, drugs, sex, and now games, and then you're saying it doesn't "scan right" that she's playing with performance entertainment and, yes, being a sexy model, a fully clothed one i should add. "selling", sure, but "nothing" more?
i don't dispute that you're finding it off-putting, but can you see why i find your other conclusions bound up with that feeling a bit off-base?
edit: i mean, it's common to most of our species to take enjoyment and satisfaction in delighting and titillating, as well as just plain old being attractive. surely you've enjoyed, say, putting on an outfit you've worked on, and liked feeling good-looking, for example

I think this is *the* first piece of fiction I've ever seen that has a character that's a furry. In the sense of having an anthropomorphic animal as a persona/avatar that they use to interact with others, not in the sense of the character actually *being* an anthro animal.

At least, I can't offhand think of any other examples.

Normally it’s one where the majority of characters are anthropomorphic animals, majority mammals of various species.
That said, they probably mean furry fetish comic, where all of the above is true but the character designs, story, and even setting are exaggerated along the “sexy” axis. For a given version of sexy, at least.

I think what makes this kind of cringey is the realization that now that Clinton is on that channel, a certain percentage of the audience (certainly a smaller percentage, but most likely nonzero) is masturbating to him... Aurelia signed up for that, Clinton got dragged in.

Also, the iPhone dictionary doesn’t contain the word masturbating, apparently...

Yes, one single joke I can ignore, certainly. I'm just afraid this is going to be like a regular character trait of hers and the source of many jokes and references. See: Marten's mom being a dominatrix - so in half the strips she's in there's some sort of dominatrix joke. Dale and Marigold like anime which is often referenced when they are present. Steve eats cereal. These all started out as single jokes that then became ongoing things we associate with the character.

I find furries to be deeply disturbing so I just really hope there won't be ongoing furry references in the comic.
