Organic chemistry is not biology and vice versa. The overlap is large but they are not 1:1 at all.

We have Roko, who is so disturbed by the sight of (at least her own) naked innards that she passes out.  It's described as her having abnormally high body integration.

More likely, AI would be disturbed by random bits of floating code, things that could get into their programming and alter them the way pathogens do to us.

At that time (and still now, I guess) the QC world of robots was still a work in progress.  Complete consistency is not really to be expected, as it would hamper further developments.
