Okay, so, I just want to point out what a big stressing point being asked to move for a relationship is to Marten specifically. I don't think this is signposting Marten leaving the cast, I think this is signposting Marten being presented with his personal trigger point.

Yep, I think this is pretty evident from the expressions in panel 2 and how quickly she jumps in to answer in panel 3.
