Ahh, except when considering characters! The overly dry nature of FFT's story drops it a few rankings...
Character-wise, the rankings SHOULD be

6: FFT
5: FF8
4:FF9
3:FFX
2:FF7
1:FF6

That's right... 6 takes it. And Kefka ROCKS. Anyone who denies it denies themselves any kind of old-school cred.

Yah, charachter wise, FF6 Rules over all. But with downright play-againability, FFT crushes all resistance.

yeah, thats true. tactics hooked me for years. ff6's characters were so great. i loved shadow and locke!

Yah. Old-school FF had better charachters. But the new games are just so much more fun to play! So many more options!

But FF X2 should be launched into deep space and forgotten. Even though a more intellignet species might consider that an ac of war.
