Tragedy - To The Dogs

I guess this is punk.  I'm not a punk authority, though.  It sounds a bit more mainstream than I was expecting, though.  I actually COULD see the video for this song making it to MTV.

The instrumentals are well-done, and I love that they put something approximating a solo in at one point, but the vocals are really turning me off.    I think it's a good song in that it does exactly what it's intending to do, but I wouldn't listen to it in my spare time.  The vocals are far too angry, and I generally dislike explicitly angry vocals.

Om - Annapurna

This is just Sleep's drummer and bassist picking back up where they left off back in the mid-90's.  I can't tell if they're taking the Sabbath worship away from what it once was or just farther to the extreme.  I do know, however, that you're gonna need a dictionary if you want to interpret the lyrics ... Al Cisernos can be a very cryptic and verbose guy.
Also, this is Om's shortest song to date.
